OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for managing the daily operations of Nikon’s e-Commerce site. Position will work closely with product planning, marketing, sales, creative and IT to manage online sales and marketing strategies, content, communities and promotions. Further responsibilities include but are not limited to: analyzing sales statistics, conducting online traffic studies and analyzing click-through data. The position will need to work closely with the other e-Commerce team members, stakeholders throughout the organization and strategic vendors to meet goals and objectives. Maintain current information regarding latest technology trends and utilizing the e-Commerce site to provide an advantageous market share.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Implement and promote the e-Commerce strategy, standards, best-practices and functionality to create a consistent and exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage online product information, including product detail data.
  • Detailed planning and scheduling of website operations around promotions and campaigns.
  • Coordinate all elements of outbound marketing for e-Commerce site.
  • Ensure key project and program-wide roles & responsibilities are defined.
  • Manage third-party partners and/or vendor relationships as necessary.
  • Project tracking, reporting and monitoring of KPI’s.
  • Collecting metrics and performing analysis and reporting of website performance and sales statistics.
    Drive enhancements and improvements in web operations in support of sales goals.
    Maintain leading-edge knowledge of emerging trends in Internet Marketing/e-Commerce, assessing opportunities to incorporate new features and functionality.

ANCILLARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • All other duties as required or needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Extensive experience in B2C e-Commerce sales and related marketing efforts
  • In depth knowledge of web analytics solutions, content management solutions, email marketing, CRM systems, social media, etc.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Ability to travel up to a maximum of 10% (including overnight travel)

 

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 8 + years relevant internet and e-Commerce management experience
  • Consumer Electronics experience preferred
  • B.A. required  (Business or Marketing Concentration preferred)
