Should be the CL-73.
have hard case for 300mm Nikon lens when bought many years ago.
Case seems to be showing cracking.
Is not falling apart.
Wanting to know if it is leather and is drying out.

1) It's not real leather, but some sort of "pleather".2) Yes, it does dry out as years go by.
3) Personally, I take care of it the same way I do with natural leather, that is, I use shoe polish every once in a while, and avoid to expose it to heat/direct sun while in storage.
